          Ulick Peter Burke (born 16 August ) is a British polymath, historian and professor.[1] He was born to a Roman Catholic father and Jewish mother (who later converted to Roman Catholicism).

          He was educated by the Jesuits and at St John's College, Oxford and was a doctoral candidate at St Antony's College, Oxford.[2]
