          Clive Staples Lewis was born on the 29th of November, 1898 in Belfast, Northern Ireland to the family of Albert Lewis and Florence Hamilton.

          Lewis studied Literature and Classic Philosophy at Oxford University and was later awarded a Fellowship teaching position at Magdalen College.
