Indian actor, director and singer (born 1944)
Amol Palekar (born 24 November 1944) is an Indian actor, director and producer of Hindi and Marathi cinema.[3]
Early life and education
Palekar was born to Kamlakar and Suhasini Palekar in a Marathi speaking middle-class family in Mumbai.
He had three sisters called Neelon, Rekha and Unnati. His father worked in the General Post Office and his mother worked in a private company.[2] Palekar studied fine arts at the Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, and commenced his artistic career as a painter.
