Huber, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, is a tenured full Professor at the College of Nursing (UI CON) and the College of Public Health at the University of Iowa, where she is core faculty in Nursing Systems Administration and is the Graduate Health Systems Program Director, leading the Doctor of Nursing Practice (HS-DNP) program.

          She also is Academic Associate, Department of Nursing Services and Patient Care, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics; and Affiliate Faculty at the University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing. Professor Huber is a nationally recognized speaker, academic, and consultant in nursing administration who teaches, presents, and does research. Her nursing clinical background includes positions as staff nurse, nursing supervisor, and assistant director of nursing for maternal-child services.
